As one of the few places on the South Coast that has a kiddies play area in a safe environment, 3rd Avenue is the ideal place to take the family. Boasting a varied menu offering everything from breakfast and toasted sandwiches to scrumptious Eisbeins and Garlic Butter Prawns we cater for all tastes and appetites.
We are very relaxed in terms of dress code - pop in on your way to or from the beach - all we ask is that you do not arrive barefoot and shirtless!
We are also pet friendly - as long as your dog is on a leash. And no crocodiles or other dangerous pets please!
Daily Specials
Tuesdays are Pensioners Days - over 60's get 20% off all main meals (except specials). Eat-in only.
Wednesday from 5pm to 6pm is Happy Hour when prices are slashed on all beer quarts, draught beers, wine by the glass and selected spirits.
Sundays are full normal menu with Eisbein on special. Kitchen closes 3pm on Sundays.

The Joker Jackpot draw is done every Friday at 7pm.
Where the holder of the drawn ticket is not there, there will be a re-draw - you have to be there to win!

Slot Machines
For those who enjoy chancing their luck on slot machines we have an air-conditioned room with 5 slot machines. The sliding door entrance is darkened and kept closed at all times to ensure privacy. As it is a smoking area it is also fitted with two extractors. No under 18's are allowed in the gaming room.
We have had payouts of up to R26 000 with regular winners of around R5 000! Payouts of more than R5 000 are made via EFT for security reasons.

The enclosed deck can be booked for groups of at least 30 or both decks for groups of 60. To book the entire restaurant and bar requires a minimum of 120 guests.
When booking the enclosed deck access to the open sided deck will be allowed to other patrons.
